Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 January 2025. By using Hostio.in services, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hostio.in services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Account Registration

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for:

  • Hosting illegal content or content that violates Indian law (IT Act 2000)
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Hosting phishing, malware, or fraudulent websites
  • Mining cryptocurrency without express written permission
  • Any activity that excessively impacts shared server performance

4. Service Level Agreement

We guarantee 99.9% uptime for Shared and WordPress Hosting, 99.95% for VPS, and 99.99% for Cloud Hosting. Details are in our SLA document. Downtime credits are applied as per the SLA.

5. Payment and Billing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Services are billed monthly or annually as chosen at signup. Renewal reminders are sent 30, 14, and 7 days before renewal. Non-payment results in service suspension after 7 days and termination after 30 days.

6. Refund Policy

New hosting accounts are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Domain registrations are non-refundable. Full details in our Refund Policy.

7. Data and Backups

While we perform daily automated backups, we strongly recommend maintaining your own independent backups. Hostio.in's backup service is provided as a convenience and we do not guarantee backup availability.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time from the control panel.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
